Strawberries

A long time ago I heard someone call a list of simple pleasures and things that make you happy a “list of strawberries”. I liked that and thought it was cute, so that’s what I call it too now. I wish I could remember where I heard it from, though. Anyway, here’s a list of some of my strawberries.

      • Sunlight on grass and leaves
      • Flowers and pretty trees
      • Coffee that is made just right for my mood
      • Laughing at a relatable joke
      • Quiet mornings
      • A good book or audiobook
      • The bunny that stayed in the front yard and wasn’t spooked by me, letting me take a few pictures of it.
      • Food with a good balance of textures
      • Walks with dad
      • Walking barefoot on the backyard sidewalk
      • Soapy warm water
      • Singing loudly while home alone
      • Reading my favorite webcomic again
      • Naps
